Åarhus Gallery in Belfast, announces a call for art for our all-encompassing 6th Annual show entitled “44N 69W: Radius Belfast“. The exhibition celebrates and illuminates this vast creative community and runs March 6th – 30th, 2014, with an Opening Reception on Friday March 7th, 5-8 pm. This call is open to all residents of any age or training, from children to bigwigs, living within a 30 mile radius of Belfast, Maine who make art or craft. Artworks must have been created within the last two years but there are no specifications regarding the content of the works. Works in all media are welcomed, will be for sale and should be ready to hang. Up to three entries per person, with a maximum size of 30”each (including frame), all works will be shown at our discretion. There is a $10 entry fee per piece, 3 for $20; children 12 and under $5 per piece. Drop off is at Åarhus Gallery, 50 Main Street, Belfast during open hours 11-5:30pm, Thursday February 27th through Sunday March 2nd. Sorry, no mail entries will be accepted.

Artists will receive 50% commision for the sale of their work. Åarhus Gallery will donate a portion of all proceeds to local Food Banks within a 30 mile radius of Belfast. Unsold work must be picked up April 3rd through April 6th.
